Concept Development, Design & Editing
The concept for this project was to design and create a billboard advertising campaign for Clark Planetarium. I chose to rely more heavily on the visual aesthetics rather than extensive words to convey the message and capture the attention of oncoming traffic in a moment.
I approached this project with a “less is more” attitude; keeping the message as minimalistic as possible. The end results are visually simplistic, yet effectively communicates the intended message while captivating the intended audience at a glance.
To create effective advertising that capitalizes on visual significance to portray a seemingly obvious message, can be a challenging process. However, visually representing a message, is significantly more effective as a communication tool. It was a unique experience for me to embrace the art of visual communication through shape, color, texture and imagery.
